MU Launch New RANCE Server

MU has launched a new server - RANCE.

We don't know what awaits us MU players. Most of us have become used to the subscribed game. Now suddenly mobius unveils a server that is free to play...

It's been a while since I made a post here. But that doesn't I stopped playing. Been busy getting elf tarary to level up. It's really becoming a big effort to get her to level up now that she's way past level 350.

Anyway, the latest additon to her vault is the AVB. Tarary got it for 30 Bless I think and he was the one to upgrade it to +7. He really didn't rest until he could get one for me because I told him I envy others who were using Bows like it. So now I have two bows - the Alba and the AVB.

Just an Update

Well, hi! to anyone reading this blog, I apologize that there hasn't been much update. It's been a while since I last posted anything here. Been kind of busy with Real Life^_^.

Anyway, it's summer time and MU offers gold medals for players. Can't say that I've been that lucky with the gold medals. If my memory serves me right, the gold medal drops only began the other week. Can't say I've been that lucky with the drops from the medals because so far I only got like 5 jewels from them. I'll try to hunt more this week, maybe I'll be luckier this time. ^_^

Successful Ups!

Yes, guess what? My Alba bow now has additional damage. Last week I found one jewel of life in Tarkan2 and Tarary tried to upgrade my bow, but he told me it failed T_T. Anyway last week, that was Friday I found one JOL again. Unfortunately, Tarary was offline already so I could not ask him what will happen if the upgrade failed again. I just wanted to try upgrading the bow so i took the chance. I went to the safe zone in the Lost Tower 1. Deep breath and i dropped the jewel on the Alba, luckily it was a success! So, i had additonal +4 option. Then, on Monday I again found 1 JOL. Tried upgrading again and success again, so now my Alba has +8 additional damage. Tarary said it's gonna be fastkill from now on^_^.

Devil Square

If anyone’s reading this I have to apologize coz I wasn’t able to post updates the previous week. I have been so busy at work with training that we had. I’m also adjusting to the new tasks assigned to me. Anyways, the highlight of our MU life is that el_tararyF was able to join Devil Square (DS). That was last week if my memory serves me right. Tarary gave me a ticket and just directed me on how to enter Devil Square. If your main purpose is level up, DS is the place to be. The mobs just kept coming; it was great. Since it was el_tararyF’s first time in DS it couldn’t be helped…she died there^_^. But in the succeeding try she was able to finish. Here’s a screenshot of the ranking^_^

El_tararyF’s Set Is Now +7

Last weekend el_tararyF was bugged. She was a killer the whole weekend. How did it happen? We were in a party near the start of K1 and then there was a killer blade knight that came near us. The others in the party already told him to go away but he just kept coming back. And too bad el_tararyF was the victim of the bug. Tarary told me that maybe by Monday the bug would be gone, but sad luck it was not, that is why I had to spend 20 epts just to have the status reset. Tarary did the resetting for me.

Finally, el_tararyF can warp and buy items again. Tarary was kinda late coming in, and I thought he was not going to come so I just went hunting in LT7. I was already on our favorite spot but then another character came saying it was his spot. So, I just went to Noria and checked on my vault. Then, it came to me why not try upgrading my items? Tarary did the ups for me last Friday that is why my set was already +6.

I had second thoughts doing the ups myself because Tarary already made me try two times and both times were always failed T_T. But I wanted to try again, anyway, I still had Jewel of Bless in case I failed. Holding my breath, I dropped the Jewel of Soul on the item I was about to upgrade…the boots first…SUCCESS! Then the armor. SUCCESS again!!! Wheww, my set is finally +7, which means it is shinier and stronger than before.

When Tarary came online I showed it to him. He was happy I was able to succeed with the ups. We still have to buy helm and gloves with the same specs as the other items on my set ^_^.

Events on Feb 14

Yesterday was a big day for MU couples, why? Because it was Valentines Day. And it was a hugely awaited moment of the winners in the pickup line contest. Tarary told me that they were able to witness the solo wedding of the winner in the pickup line contest. He told me the names of the winners, but sadly I forgot. The wedding took place in the Devias Church, at Server 2. Too bad I was not able to witness the wedding. The blasted Internet connection at home failed again.

When I was finally able to connect, I joined Tarary and the other guys from the Guild in K1. Then we went to Icarus for feather hunt. Finally, a guildmate told Tarary that someone was interested in buying the Loch of Feather that he was able to get last Monday night. The deal took place and Tarary got 21 Jewels of Bless for it. He upgraded my Guardian Set with the Bless. My armor, pants, boots and gloves are now +6. To upgrade the set to +7 we have to get lots of Jewel of Soul.

So, we went hunting for hearts in LT7 after the ups. The jewel drops from the hearts were few. I stayed a while after Tarary went offline. I went to server 9 on the same spot and there I was able to get 2 Jewels of Soul and 1 Jewel of Chaos. A nice hunt ^_^

Hearts and Chocs for Valentines

Tarary and I played last Friday night. It was a great play because there was already the Heart of Love…the much-awaited drops for February. Aside from the Heart of Love there was also the Chocolate Box. I found out from Tarary that all these goodies can only be found on certain maps; yup it’s not available throughout MU land. For exciting Hearts of Love and Chocolate Boxes you’ll have to hunt in all of the Lost Tower Maps as well as in Devias.

Tarary and I had a great spot in LT7 that is why we had excellent drops from the Hearts. We obtained lots of Chaos jewels from the Hearts, maybe 10 of them and then 2 Jewels of Bless ^_^. It was really great, I didn’t want to leave because I’m sure there will still be lots of jewels ^_^.

The Dog in el_TararyF!

Hi again!!! Hope all you had a god night's sleep.

So, here I am making the continuation about the personalities behind the MU characters Tarary and el_tararyF. Last night I gave something about Tarary. Today will be about el_TararyF. el-TararyF was born in the Year of the Dog. You just have to guess which year ^_^

Tarary's Back to Normal

Yep, Tarary is back to normal, no more pre-valentines hue for this MU character. he was able to get back to normal only within 24 hours!!! Why the exclamtion point? Well i juts think it's unfair of MU because when I was in the killer status it took more than 24hours. I had to load 20 epoints to have my status reset to commoner. Grrr...

But anyway, I'm glad we can now again roam around the continent to our heart;s content. ^_^

Guess who's the latest victim of PK? well, it's no other than tarary! He told me that last night he PK'd another player while they were in the Crywolf fortress... See his wings are all so fiery red. Red wings means killer status. Well...looks like it's gonna be an advanced valentines ^_^

I'm here at work and right now I am feeling very very sleepy. I played MU last night but it was not much fun because I was all alone T_T. Tarary was not able to come online and there were not much people from the guild. Anyway, the ones who were online were not anyone I know...

Just to update you, el_tararyF is now on her way to level 328...well nearing there. I did not go for level up last night, i just went roaming and roaming around the different maps hunting for some jewels, but unluckily I was not able to find any. It's sad T_T. Hopefully this February there will be new boxes again, and excellent drops... OOhhhhh I can't wait!

Killer Status Has Been Reset

I'm very glad that i finally got to reset el_tararyF's killer status^_^ She is back to nromal again. Tarary and I had a good time roaming around the MU world, first in Atlans until we finally decided to settle in Kantur1 for the rest of the time. Tarary taught me how to upgrade some items tonight. We tried upgrading the bow. All that's required was one Jewel of Life. The jewel had to be dropped on the item that is to be upgraded. Our attempt was not a success though...We will have to try again next time. For the meantime just collect more and more jewels!

El_tararyF Gets New Alba Bow!!!

Despite being in a killer status I'm very happy because el_tararyF has a new weapon - the ALBA BOW.^_^ I've seen a lot of elves using this bow, made me quite envious. Actually I've seen another in color red/orange and it's quite beautiful as well, especially when in action. Rye told me that one was more expensive so we opted for the green one which also beautiful. So what made me attracted to this particular bow? 1. It looks good when in action with its four shots more spread apart. 2. It is more eye-catching...a true eye-candy that fits a Muse Elf ^_^.
We got it last Sunday. Tarary went to market in noria, made negotiations. The first one was not a success because the seller wanted it in pure Bless and we did not have that much. The second was a success and so we finally got the Alba for 25 assorted jewels. So, I got one of my heart's desire!!!



But it would be more fun if el_tararyF were not in a killer status anymore!!!

El_TararyF: A Killer!!!

It is true as you can see from my title. El_tararyF is a killer at the moment. Rye played it last saturday night and he killed another killer making El_tararyF a killer as well. I can't warp, I can't buy items, especially arrows...waaaa makes me sadT_T. I've got it to level up a while ago but it still would not move from its killer status, so that leaves me another choice. Rye told me another way is to have the PK reset with 20 epoints. I'm gonna do that tomorrow so that I can have full enjoyment again ^_^

El_TararyF on Crywolf!

Before getting to work on my other tasks last night I played for a bit in MU. Tarary was there already partying with the Guildmates from MASA, so he invited me too. I just went along with them since I'm the newbie in the group. Though I've been playing for like maybe 2 months now there's a lot that I don't know. Some of the events i only hear from them...I haven't had the chance to participate, like the Crywolf. Ever since I heard the term I've been wondering what goes on in there, well finally i had the opportunity to have a first-hand experience when I joined Tarary and some of the Guildmates.

Based from last night's play, Crywolf is a certain location in the Lorencia Map...and I must say that a novice like myslef will not be able to find it easily ^_^ in fact i got lost going there. That happened the second time I went in coz I was alone. The party was still there. Good thing my Tarary came for me at the Lorencia gates. Aside from being a location, it is also an event. There is also a schedule for Crywolf battle with the dark forces of Kundun. And from what i understood, it is only in Crywolf where you can obtain certain items and jewels. Last night was the hunt for Bless of Guardian, Splinter of Armor...( i forgot the others)... oh and i remember there was also a mention of Claw of Beast. What were they for? said they were going to create a pet ... the Fenrir..its a mix of a dragon/lion. It was a good hunt because the party was successful in creating the Fenrir. They already have 2 and now they only need to make 3 more...don't know who's gonna use them though. But as a conclusion it was a good first time experience in Crywolf (though all of us in the party died at a certain point, lol^_^).

Updated Template

If you read my previous post you will see that i mentioned a 3-column template...Yes its true. But when i saw this template that I have now I felt convinced this would be the best one to go with the theme that I'm thinking of for this blog. And the background image is clean and clear so the text of the entries can be read easily:-). I like it a lot!!! But I just have some problems with the fonts and colors. I can't make adjustments on them because the icons don't show up in the template...

But in general, this looks great methinks!;-)

The Blogging Fever!

This is actually my second blog here in Blogger. Ever since i saw my friend's 3-column blog I've been hankering for one too!I just don't have that much time on my hands lately, but I said to myself if I don't make time then maybe I'll never be able to have what i want...and I so want a 3-COLUMN BLOG! And finally here it is! You my readers might not like my blog's layout but that does not really matter as long as I like it, lol! I'm just so excited to have another blog where I can write about anything I want. But this time, in this blog, it won't be all emo, thus the title of my blog is Beyond the Personal...There is still a world outside of myself and that is what I am going to explore in this blog. I promise it won't be self-pitying emos!
